Pan Poached Eggs

  • 1 teaspoon oil or butter
  1. Place the pan over medium-heat. Add the butter or oil. Swirl the pan to coat the surface.
  2. Add the eggs into the pan.
  3. Add a tablespoon of water.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid. Cook until the egg whites are done. This should take about 30 seconds for a runny yolk and longer for a well done yolk.
  5. Remove from the heat. Eat immediately.
